A. Consent Agenda

There will be no separate discussion of these items at the Business Meeting unless a Commissioner so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda.
*a. Minutes of the Meetings held on May 05 / 07, 2008
*b. Payables in the amount of $ 216,406.62 for issue on 05/21/08, Payroll in the amount of $ 17,587.81 for issue on 05/20/08 totaling $233,994.43.
Suggested motion to approve consent agenda:
B. Authorize Amber to purchase a new copier at a cost of $10,937.00 plus tax with a 7 year guaranteed maintenance fee of $253.32 monthly or $3,039.84 annually.
Suggested motion to approve:
The maintenance fee includes 8,100 (5,100 BW & 3,000 color) copies monthly, and all consumables (toner, staples, parts, labor and imaging units), if we make more than 8,100 copies in a month then we will be charged $0.0132 for B/W or $0.062 for color copies per page and the machine tracks these numbers monthly. This will save us approximately $1,194.05 annually from what we are currently paying in maintenance on our copier and toner for our color printer.
C. Authorize Amber to move forward with the purchase of approximately 3 acres from Emerald Ranches at a cost of $15,000 per the 2001 purchase agreement.

Port of Benton is celebrating their 50th Anniversary on Saturday May 24th at Milbrandt Vineyards Grand Opening from 4-7 p.m. at Vintner’s Village in Prosser.
Port of Benton’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, June 4th at the Richland Red Lion (Hanford House) at 6pm
PNWA Mid Year Meeting is scheduled for June 18-20 at the Otter Crest Inn in Otter Rock, Oregon. I have included a copy of the agenda, please let me know if you are planning to attend so we can make reservations.
